A growing manufacturing company in the West Chester, PA  area is seeking a AP/AR Specialist for a temporary to hire opportunity.

Responsibilities for the AP/AR Specialist:
  • The AP/AR Specialist will be in charge of entering information into the accounting system
  • Manage expense reimbursement and prepare AP checks
  • Arranges all vouchers/invoices for payment
  • Verifies and prepares checks for mailing
  • Research/resolve any discrepancies with invoices
  • Prepares and posts deposits
  • General office clerical duties (i.e filling, scanning)
  • Prepares reports required by regulatory agencies, banks, investors, and other external parties
  • Manages monthly accounting close cycle
  • Prepares month-end financial statement
  • Interfaces with appropriate departments to secure proper payment approvals
  • Prepares accounts payable reports
  • Assess and corrects periodic reports to maintain current reconciliation status for cash and disbursement accounts
  • Additional duties as assigned

Qualifications  for the AP/AR Specialist:
  • 3+ years of accounting experience
  • Proficiency in MS Excel
  • Bachelor degree with in Accounting/Finance
  • Sharp attention to detail
  • ADP preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organization skill
