Business Support Assistant

 

We are searching for a skilled Business Support Assistant.  As a Business Support Assistant, you would be responsible to work with our Customer Service, Finance, and Marketing department.  The Business Support Assistant interact with many different people.  Creating and maintaining positive relationships is an essential part of the job. 

Responsibilities of the  Business Support Assistant:
  • Documenting customer communications within the CRM system
  • Take orders, determines charges, and oversee billing or payments
  • Preparing, formatting and editing a range of documents
  • Support sales presentations by assembling proposals, slide shows, demonstration and product capability documents.
  • Post customer payments by recording credit card transactions in compliance with financial policies and procedures
  • Open and maintain customer accounts by recording account information
  • Maintain financial accounts by processing customer adjustments
  • Would be responsible to use our customer service (“ CRM”) database
  • Providing administrative support (e.g. resetting passwords and log-in credentials)
  • Protect organization’ s value by keeping in educational opportunities
  • Be available as a resource for senior level leadership who needs assistance with completing large projects
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities

 

Requirements for the  Business Support Assistant:
  • 2+ years in Customer Service and/or Financial experience
  • Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers
  • Familiar with CRM systems and practices
  • Associate degree preferred
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in English and in MS Office
  • Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening
  • A high level of attention to detail
