Job Description

The Bookkeeper/Office Manager will work directly with owners. The ideal Bookkeeper/Office Manager will be somebody to help out with day to day financials/accounting, as well as maintaining the office and administrative tasks, and occasional receptionist responsibilities.

Responsibilities and Duties

Office Manager Financial Responsibilities include:
  • Full cycle accounts payable
  • Manage payroll and bank deposits
  • Handling, reviewing, and sending out invoices with Quickbooks
  • Full cycle accounts receivable (processing client payments and handling collections
  • benefits admin, cash management, sales tax, financial reporting
  • Prepare general financial statements and reports
  • Monitor office expenses
  • Account reconciliation
  • Responsible for General Ledger
  • Creating project budgets and tracking billable time

Office Management Responsibilities include:
  • Organizing and maintaining the office and office operations
  • Assisting with onboarding new employees
  • Updating and maintaining internal databases, subscriptions, licenses, etc.
  • Answering phones
  • Maintaining office inventory
  • Light filing, mailing, administrative responsibilities

Office Manager Qualifications and Skills
  • 3+ years’ experience with Quickbooks
  • Strong organizational, communication skills
  • Adaptable to occasional change in priorities
  • Proactive self starter- may be alone in office at times
  • Bachelors degree and a minimum of 5 years’ office/accounting experience, preferable in a mechanical or construction industry
  • Microsoft Office (excellent Excel skills) and Quickbooks a MUST

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary

Salary: $50, 000.00 to $60, 000.00 /year
