Job Description

Our client is looking for a multi-talented Project Manager / Office Manager to keep the  office,  projects and  team running smoothly as they grow. You will be responsible for day-to-day office functions, as well as supporting key executives and overseeing administrative needs. 
Responsibiliteis of the Office Manager:
  • Project Management is fundamental to the growth of our company, as we will be running multiple projects on parallel paths.
    • Extremely well-organized
    • Punctual and time oriented
    • Trained in project management techniques
    • Ability to work well with others, while being firm to maintain deadlines
  • Responsible for all physical office improvement projects and ensure office equipment and utilities are in working order
    • Sourcing and coordinating with vendors
    • Vendor oversight and management
    • Coordinate with office and building staff where necessary for office improvement projects
    • Liaising with property management
  • Support key executives across multiple departments
    • Travel arrangements
    • Schedule meetings/calls/appointment and maintain calendars accordingly
    • Perform clerical duties and assist with projects for a variety of departments as needed.
  • Oversee administrative assistants, executive assistants and front desk receptionist
    • Training
    • Management
    • Approval oversight
    • Cover for any absences in administrative staff
  • Assist with day-to-day HR duties
    • Maintain updated employee files
    • Background checks
    • Post open job positions not run through a recruiter
    • Address daily employee issues (expense questions, benefits, etc)
  • Ordering, receiving, stocking of office and kitchen supplies
  • Enter Purchase Orders, track and submit receipts for office expenses


Qualifications of the Office Manager:
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Technological proficiency preferred: ability to trouble-shoot basic issues with computers, printers, phones
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and follow-through
  • Be a creative problem solver that can work independently and be a team player
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize projects to make sure deadlines are met
  • Friendly and “ can-do” attitude
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • High School Diploma required; College degree preferred
